This weekend, after moving and being left bruised and sore, I went to London to meet someone special; someone very special. She’s a fellow WordPress blogger from America who has become a dear friend. The first I have ever met in person.
She has recently gone through a divorce herself and often offered me support and kind words, which I tried my best to reciprocate.
She was on holiday with three friends and I sort of crashed the party for a couple of days. It was amazing!
We celebrated our modern day friendship, which is now more solid than it already was. We were so comfortable in each other’s company that her ‘real’ friends were surprised we had never met before, or that we hadn’t even spoken on the phone. However, we had already poured our hearts to each other, starting in the comments section and moving to email and WhatsApp.
I love her to bits and now I love her friends too.
Thank you, my friend! I won’t reveal who you are so out secrets are safe. You can always count on me! xx
That’s great. I’m glad you got to be even better friends–

It’s special. You can never be 100% sure how things are going to go but it was amazing!

That is wonderful and I’m so happy you enjoyed your time together. Sometimes we connect with people without ever having met them in person. I believe we have done so as well and if it is who I thunk it is then I was missing. Didn’t we talk about all three of us getting together before 😉
