Happy Valentine’s Day

It is a nice day. I enjoy doing something special on Valentine’s day.

As a typical Taurus, my perfect date would most likely consist of tasty food and a good amount of alcohol while talking looking into the loved one’s eyes.

I honestly don’t need much more than that.

Well, add great sex afterwards and I’m on cloud 9.

A friend has recently asked me if I’m not being too picky. I said, categorically, I’m not. If I let go of the things I want for in a partner, I will fall into exactly the same traps I did in my relationship with barely husband.

There can be no more ‘I can let go of that’ or ‘I can change who I am’ for someone else. That’s basic.

While I don’t find the person who will join me in my perfect date, I will spend Valentine’s day with a bottle of tasty red wine after eating a leftover Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell.

It’s awesome! LOL!

Enjoy your dates, lovely readers! xx

We all have things that really matter, and sometimes littler things don’t make or break the whole situation. I would think that not having to give up yourself and what you love is a basic. Enjoy your day and funny-sounding meal!

That’s my point! I refuse to give up who I am again. It’s not worth it. There are a lot of things I can compromise on, of course. That would most likely be accepting who the other person is and that’s fine.
Had my wrap and the wine bottle is going quick. I have work tomorrow. I can’t take it too far! 😉

Yeah, I think that going into a relationship knowing you’ll have to pretend not to like this and you’ll have to quit doing that and you’ll have to take up a really personally-objectional habit means it’s not good. Good for you for knowing that. Good insight on the bottle too–

I have learned from experience. I’d rather wait. I’m not bitter for being alone tonight. The right person is out there and I will take my time to find them. 😉

  2. Good for you to stand your ground. You’ve been there before and you are not going to settle ever again. You deserve it all and the fairytale is yours when the time is right. Happy valentines love…♥️

  3. Don’t you dare settle darling! Although my cocktails out were good, I think I would have been better off staying in… Happy Valentine’s Day.
