I had to ask my daughter for a cuddle last night. She’s not very good with PDA but she awkwardly obliged. The result is that I woke up this morning feeling much better.

I dropped Raven off at Drama School and came back to clean the house. It was a right tip as I had no energy to do anything for over a week.

I decided then that I would buy some new bedding. Barely husband only liked white, beige at most, so all my beautiful colours – blacks, reds, and purples – had been neglected.

He took all the light stuff with him (to my relief) when he moved out. However, I was left with inconplete, mismatching sets of colour.

As a coincidence, I’m sure, when I dropped Raven off at his, he handed me a bag full of bed linen. He bought new stuff and told me that, if I had no use for the old ones, I could donate it to charity.

We reached the same decision at the same time. I hope this means he is truly ready to move on, just like I am.

I have bought a black set with lovely embroidered details and a velvety puple one. Hopefully someone will be able to share them with me sooner rather than later.
