As most of you may already know, I am a big music lover and sometimes post my random playlists.

I have made no secret I am a HUGE Pentatonix fan, often rambling about them, their music and what they represent in terms of acceptance.

This song, Dancing On My Own, is their first release since member Avi Kaplan decided to take a step back from the band to focus on his family. Instead of replacing Avi here with another bass singer, Kevin’s cello does the job and he’s back to his best ‘celloboxing’ moments.

The vocals are emotional, perfectly shared and harmonised between Mitch, Scott and Kirstie. This song has touched me in a way very few do and, up to now, I have cried every single time I’ve heard it.

I hope you enjoy it too!

The original is by Swedish singer/songwriter Robyn.
