This weekend I have finished writing my first Wattpad book.
It has been a very long journey, a labour of love, writing a story with a theme so special and important to me.
‘Make Love Your Goal’ has kept me sane in many ways. I could put all my feelings of love and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community I am part of.
I know I’m not an amazing writer but I’m not too bad. My style is modern, simple and speaks straight to a young generation so in need of acceptance and support. Many times I received messages from young kids struggling with their sexuality, thanking me for what I wrote, thanking me for how I portrayed the struggles, especially for bisexuals and pansexuals who can suffer discrimination from both sides.
Every time I received one of these sweet messages, it made everything worthwhile. It may never be a best seller – it’s not even for sale as it’s free – but I feel it has done a lot of good. That is certainly something I can be proud of.
Make Love Your Goal will remain available for anyone to read and I’ll start writing a new story called See You Again.
I put in my bucket list I would write at least 3 books. I am starting number two and that’s another tick in the box on my way to happiness.
If you’d like to read my work, I’d be honoured (links below). Thank you!
