I have been nominated by my friend and fellow blogger Tarnished Soul https://tarnishedsoul.wordpress.com/ to take the 3 DAY, 3 QUOTE CHALLENGE, which I gladly accepted because I’ve seen the beautiful posts from people who have done it.
The rules for the challenge are:
1. Provide 3 different quotes for 3 consecutive days
2. Provide a link to my blog for your readers.
3. Nominate 3 bloggers each day for the challenge and have them provide a link to your blog.
4. This rule has been added by me, but it seems to be followed one way or another by everybody: no one is forced to accept it or do exactly as the rules state! Ha! Freedom of choice!
My theme for the day is ACCEPTANCE. There are a few different meanings to the word, but I focus on accepting one another exactly as we are. You should love and be loved for yourself, not for some imaginary perfect being that someone you know or society in general expects.
ACCEPTANCE is very important to me and I don’t see a reason for people to be so critical and unaccepting of other people’s choices and beliefs, be it physical appearance, religion or sexuality. RESPECT above all!
So on with my quotes:
I have come across this quote by Wayne Dyer a few times while researching things for my book and I think it’s perfection. You get so much back from the people you encounter if you just let them be! It is extremely rewarding and I recommend you try it.
We try so hard to fit ourselves and others to pre-defined roles in society that we twist and turn and the real US is crushed.
I love this picture because it crosses out the superfluous, the fluff.
Why make it complicated?
IT IS A PERSON’S JOB TO RESPECT ANOTHER PERSON. PERIOD.
And I refuse to have any IFs and BUTs added to it.
Now my nominations and remember: you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to. I will not be offended or upset. 🙂

Just to finish it off, I want you to see this:
It’s not a quote, so I couldn’t count it as one, but it goes perfectly well with this post.
